''The 14th International Summer Piano Academy & Festival 'Anastasios Leimonis' - Poros 2025'' will take place this year from the 18th till the 28th of 2025 on the Island of Poros.

•      With great joy, we have the honor to celebrate the 14th Anniversary of the Academy and Festival of Poros this year. Thanks to all of you, participants, Professors, collaborators, relatives, friends and parents, our Academy and Festival  flourished, grew up and expanded, creating a huge Musical Family in the whole World. 

            So, this year, the Opening Ceremony will take place on the 18th of August, at 19.00', in the Syggros’ Open Amphitheater, followed by Welcome Piano Recitalσ.

        

•        The Lessons will start the 19th morning and will finish the 27th evening of August 2024.

•        The Halls where the lessons will take place are the Halls of Syggros’ Mansion, the public schools of Poros and the Hatzopoulios Public Library, all in the center of the town and close to the port.

*     On Friday the 22nd of August at 20.00', a Special Concert will take place at the Archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Poseidon on Poros Island, where some selected soloists, from different nations, participants of the Academy, will perform in this great event that every year attracts a vast audience.

*      Piano Recitals by distinguished participants of the Academy, will be given at 20.00΄, at the Syggros’ Open Amphitheatre and at the Hall ‘ Nefeli’ of the Hotel Sirene Blue Luxury Beach Resort.

*    A very special concert will take place at Hatzopoulios Public Library, titled ‘Lilliputian pianists on stage ’. In this concert can perform, just by applying, without audition, the youngest little stars of our Academy, between 5-14 years old.

*     On the 20th of August, at 21.00', at the Syggros’ Open Amphitheater, will take place the Audition for the selection of the Soloists who would like to perform with the Sinfonietta Orchestra of Athens at the same place, on Saturday the 23rd of August. The Jury will consist of the Professors of the Academy and the Conductor. The chosen Soloists will have the opportunity to take advice from the Conductor the following day, regarding the concert they have to perform and the relationship between the Soloist and the Orchestra.

*      On Saturday the 23rd of August at 20.00' the Sinfonietta Orchestra of Athens will perform with selected soloists of our Academy, concerts for 1,2 and 3 pianos at Syggros' Open Amphitheater.
The same day of the Concert, at 11.00' in the morning, will be the General Rehearsal of the Orchestra and the selected Soloists in the Theater of Syggros' Mansion (indoors).

*     On Monday the 25th of August, at the Syggros’ Open Amphitheatre at 20.00΄, will take place the Gala Concert of the Academy where the public will participate by voting for the “best performer of the evening” awarding him/her the “Prize of the public”.

*      On Wednesday the 27th of August, at the Syggros’ Open Amphitheatre at 20.00΄, will take place the Closing Cerermony and a  second Gala Concert, where the public will participate by voting for the “best performer of the evening” awarding him/her the “Prize of the public”.

        The same evening, the Mayor of Poros will award the Diplomas of Participation at all the students of the Academy.
